Damian Lillard has been appreciative of the love he’s gotten through out during his Take on Summer Tour.

The tour, organized by sportswear giant Adidas, has brought the Portland Trail Blazers star to Chinese cities of Beijing, Chengdu, Taipei and for his fourth and last stop, Manila, where he’s looking forward to seeing what the basketball city has to offer the second time around.

“Every city there’s been a lot of city and a lot of fans,” said Lillard during a press conference on Tuesday at Kerry Sports inside Shangri-La at the Fort in Taguig City.

Lillard hopes to make the most out of his return in Manila after his previous trip two years ago didn’t turn out well.

He was part of the star-studded NBA cast for the flubbed Last Home Stand event.

The 25-year-old Lillard arrived here after a two-hour trip from Taipei.

After a meet-and-greet with his Filipino fans, Lillard is expected to take part in a 5-on-5 game in his event at Smart Araneta Coliseum later in the evening.

He is scheduled to leave Manila on Wednesday, according to organizers.

The 2013 NBA Rookie of the Year, selected sixth overall in the draft, led the Trail Blazers’ surprise run in the playoffs where they advanced in the Western Conference semifinals and lost to the defending champions Golden State Warriors in five games.
