After another finals defeat, Alaska will now be putting its trust on LaDontae Henton as its import for the season-ending 2016 PBA Governors’ Cup.

The 6-foot-4 small forward is set to arrive to the country and immediately join the Aces practices on June 20.

Henton spent the past season with Baloncesto Sevilla in the Spanish League where he averaged 5.5 points and 2.1 rebounds as a reserve.

He was a member of the 2012 Big East All-Rookie Team and an All-Big East First Team member in 2015 as he played his college career with the Providence Friars.

Henton’s entry is a welcome sign for Alaska with Vic Manuel slowly working his way back from a calf injury and Calvin Abueva recovering from his Gilas Pilipinas stint.
