Gilas ‘impressive’ so far in Europe camp, says Baldwin

Gilas Pilipinas is in the crucial stages of its training camp and so far, head coach Tab Baldwin is liking what he’s seeing.
Baldwin expressed his delight with the national team’s progress on his Twitter account.
“Gilas boys impressive in practice. Effort & attention on point. Still much to do. Turkey on 21st will be more lessons for us. #Gilasonmymind,” Baldwin wrote.
Gilas is in its fifth day of training camp in Greece and is headed for Istanbul, Turkey to play a tune-up game against the Turkish national team.
The Nationals will wrap up their 18-day camp in Europe in Bologna, Italy where they will take part in a four-nation pocket tournament against Canada, China and the host.
Gilas is scheduled to return home on June 28, a week before it opens its campaign in the Fiba Olympic qualifying tournament against France.
