PSL kicks off new season with most number of teams

With a big eight-team field, the Philippine Superliga All Filipino Conference promises to showcase top-shelf volleyball action starting Saturday.

The three-year-old league for club teams will have its largest roster of teams and some of biggest names in women’s volleyball.

“The presence of some of biggest companies putting up teams here speaks a lot about our credibility as a league,” said PSL chair Philip Ella Juico.

Superstars Jovelyn Gonzaga of RC Cola-Army and Cha Cruz of F2 Logistics led the team captains who graced the presser yesterday at Centerstage MOA ahead of tomorrow’s opening at FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
