The team’s promising incoming sophomore, Willie Cauley-Stein, had high praises for the new duds.

Despite its improved modern look, the jerseys still retained the franchise’s trademark purple template, while an alternate black uniform has embossed features—similar to the Atlanta Hawks’ uniform modification last season.

The team, who also unveiled a new logo earlier this year,  will still keep its throwback uniforms and use it during special games.

The Kings missed the playoffs for the 10th straight season after finishing with a 33-49 win-loss record.

The team parted ways with head coach George Karl in April and has appointed former Memphis Grizzlies bench boss, Dave Joerger, in his place. Khristian Ibarrola
