Ayesha Curry, wife of Golden State superstar Stephen Curry, said in a tweet that the NBA is “absolutely rigged for money” after the Warriors’ 115-101 loss in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

After Stephen Curry was thrown out with 4:22 left to play, the first ejection of the reigning NBA MVP’s career, for chucking his mouthguard away, Ayesha took to Twitter her frustrations.

Stephen Curry was called for a foul, his sixth of the night, on LeBron James as the Warriors trailed big, 87-99. That led him to lose his temper and hurl his mouthguard, hitting a fan at courtside. He immediately apologized.

Ayesha has since deleted the controversial tweet and apologized in a separate post, saying she “tweeted in the heat of the moment because the call was uncalled for.”

She explained that it had been a “long night for her” after police at the Quicken Loans Arena “racial profiled” her father, had him remove his credentials and tried to arrest him.

“I’m okay that we lost… I just can’t take people coming at my family for absolutely no reason. Something I don’t understand or stand for,” Ayesha also said.

Earlier in the series, Ayesha mocked LeBron James for his “high road” comments amid the controversy involving Golden State’s Draymond Green.

“High Road. invisible bridge used to step over said person when open floor is available left to right.”
