The rest of the league bore witness to a thrilling back-and-forth affair that will stand the test of time, as two powerhouse teams left it all on the line in a game for the record books.

Shortly after the final buzzer, several players, legends, executives, and coaches took to social media to congratulate the Cavaliers on their first ever NBA title in franchise history.

Recently retired Laker-superstar Kobe Bryant showed some love for the three-time NBA finals MVP, alongside his teammate Kyrie Irving, whose three point basket with 53 seconds left in regulation spelled doom for the Warriors.

Even the Dallas Mavericks’ outspoken owner and James’ former finals foe, Mark Cuban tweeted his appreciation to the franchise, particularly to his fellow owner, Dan Gilbert.
