National University handily beat Baguio, 25-10, 25-19, 25-11, to grab a share of the fourth spot in the Shakey’s V-League Season 13 Open Conference Monday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Facing a worst team in the league, the Lady Bulldogs left nothing to chance with Jaja Santiago leading the way.
The 6-foot-4 Santiago easily came away with 18 points, including four blocks and three service aces.
“Sobrang importante kasi itong panalo na ‘to sa next game mataas morale namin,” said Santiago, whose combination of size and skill left the Summer Spikers at her mercy.
The win pushed NU into a tie with idle Laoag at 3-3 with a victory over University of the Philippines puts the Lady Bulldogs in prime position to make the Final Four.
The Summer Spikers, who reeled to 0-6, yielded 10 points off service aces after giving up a record 21 in a straight-sets loss to Laoag last Saturday.
