“The team is intact. What was missing from the team before is the trust from the players and the coaches,” he said. “Now, we have an open communication and we meet at certain points. That’s what we worked on, the trust which was missing last year.”
Sison is banking on his senior players to carry the team, which finished last in Season 91.

Firepower won’t be much of a problem for EAC as it welcomes back Francis Munsayac, Sidney Onwubere, and
Igee King to this year’s roster.
Now, Sison wants the Generals to focus more on defense and hopes to get more out of Hamadou Laminou, who showed improvement in the preseason.
“Ang concentration namin ngayon is on our defense. Everyday, we work hard to adjust our defense, so hopefully, we’ll be able to step up on our standings,” he said.
Sison is not shooting for the moon but instead is setting a realistic goal of improving their standings this year.
“My modest goal is to move up at least fifth to sixth place. It’s more than enough for me, but if we make it to the Final Four, it’s a compliment to our hardwork,” he said. “Hopefully, we’ll be able to move up this time.”
