Laoag escaped a feisty University of the Philippines side in four sets, 25-21, 19-25, 25-22, 26-24, to book itself a seat in the semifinals of the Shakey’s V-League Season 13 Open Conference Monday at Philsports Arena.

“Yun ang una naming goal, ang makapasok sa Final Four, at yun yung na-achieve na namin so kailangan mas paghandaan yung semifinals,” said Laoag coach Nes Pamillar.
