Global battles Tampines in Singapore Cup

REIGNING UFL Cup champion Global takes on Tampines Rovers on Wednesday night in the first leg of their Singapore Cup quarterfinal tie at Jurong West Stadium in Singapore. Undefeated in the UFL so far this season, Global seeks to bring its stellar form against the powerhouse S-League side. Global reached the last eight of the tournament after a 5-0 drubbing of Cambodian side Nagaworld at Jalan Besar Stadium last May 29. The second leg is slated Saturday, also at JBS. Cedelf P. Tupas
