F2 Logistics continued its strong run in the Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Conference, taking down Generika in three sets, 25-12, 25-16, 25-18, Thursday at Cuneta Astrodome.
A pair of services decided the match with Kim Fajardo’s ace sealing the Cargo Movers’ 3-0 record and Rubie De Leon’s service error putting F2 Logistics at match point.
Cargo Movers head coach Ramil De Jesus was grateful for the one-week layoff, which the team used to correct the mistakes form their last game against Amy’s.
“Mahaba kasi pahinga kaya marami kaming nagawa nung one week break, naayos namin mga kulang sa last game against Amy’s,” said De Jesus.
F2 Logistics’ match against the Spikers also ended in three sets, 25-13, 25-14, 25-23, but it was in the third where they showed a few cracks in their system.
Aby Maraño and Ara Galang led F2 Logistics with 11 points apiece while Kim Fajardo, Cha Cruz, and Mika Reyes each added eight.
Generika’s offense was as dry as summer as the Lifesavers only managed to score 18 spikes with rookie Wensh Tiu its high-point lass with seven.
