New Zealand Tall Blacks have fun with young Aetas in hoops clinic

The New Zealand Tall Blacks aren’t just here in Manila to compete in the Fiba Olympic qualifying tournament.

The Kiwis arrived here late Friday night after a grueling trip from Europe and in less than 24 hours since their arrival, they took time to make the dreams of kids from an Aeta community come true.

The Tall Blacks taught the young Aetas dribble moves, joined them in layup lines and most important of all, got them to enjoy basketball unlike any other game they’ve been in.

Here are photos of the event at Cuneta Astrodome.
