F2 Logistics went into overdrive and left Foton in its tracks with a three-set sweep, 25-11, 25-23, 25-14, on Sunday at San Juan Arena to remain unbeaten in the Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Conference.
Team Captain Cha Cruz showed her mettle for the Cargo Movers as she found the spot to seal the match and the 4-0 record, the best so far in the conference.
F2 Logistics committed 17 errors, quite low compared to Foton’s 25, but it’s a number head coach Ramil De Jesus wants to put down even more.
“Meron pa kaming dapat ayusin, dami ngang unforced errors kagaya ng mga bumabagsak na bola, yun lang, babalikan namin yun sa training,” said De Jesus.
“Hindi siguro masyadong nagge-gel pa ang Foton compared sa team kasi una ang core namin La Salle then blend na lang dating players,” he added.
Ara Galang, the first overall pick of the draft, led the Cargo Movers with 11 points while Aby Maraño added 10.
Mika Reyes and Kim Dy also produced for F2 Logistics as they finished with eight points each while setter Kim Fajardo and Cruz had six apiece.
Jaja Santiago was the lone bright spot for the Tornadoes as she finished with a game-high 13 points. AC
