MYLA Pablo delivered another big game and Elaine Kasilag shone in the clutch as Pocari Sweat booted out Bali Pure, 15-25, 27-25, 25-11, 25-23, to claim the last championship berth in the Shakey’s V-League Season 13 Open Conference last night at Philsports Arena in Pasig.

Brushing off a poor start, the Lady Warriors again turned to Pablo, who erupted for 26 points to match her output in their thrilling Game 2 win.

Kasilag also starred with 21 points, highlighted by an incredible end-game performance where she fired the Lady Warriors’ last four points that shattered a deadlock at 21 in the do-or-die Game 3.

“We worked as a team because we know Bali Pure is very strong,” Pablo said after the Lady Warriors ousted a loaded Bali Pure squad led by collegiate MVPs Alyssa Valdez and Grethcel Soltones.

The Lady Warriors will clash with No. 1 Philippine Air Force in the best-of-three Finals starting July 13 at Philsports Arena.

The Jet Spikers swept Team Laoag, 2-0, in their own semifinal duel.

Michele Gumabao chipped in 15 points for Pocari Sweat which rallied from a set down.

Soltones paced the Water Defenders with 19 points, while Valdez finished with 15.

Air Force flourished all game to shock No. 1 Cignal, 25-19, 25-16, 25-19, and move within a win of the Spikers’ Turf Season 2 Open Conference title.

The Airmen, behind Fauzi Ismail’s 21 points, pounced on a error-prone HD Spikers, who took their first loss in eight games.

Led by Ysay Marasigan and Raymark Woo, the HD Spikers headed into the match as heavy favorites with a perfect record.

Earlier, Sta. Elena Construction downed Instituto Estetico Manila, 25-17, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19, in the battle for third.
