Bali Pure star Alyssa Valdez could skip its best-of-three battle for third series against Laoag in Shakey’s V-League Season 13 Open Conference.
The Batanguena spiker said she still is doubtful to play for Bali Pure as she could join Ateneo in the Asean University Games.
“Wala pang final decision, pero kung kaya naman parehong laruan ko, why not? Gagawan na lang ng paraan,” she said.
The Purest Water Defenders failed to advance to the Finals, bowing to Pocari Sweat, 15-25, 27-25, 25-11, 25-23 on Monday.
That relegated them to the third place duel against the Power Smashers starting July 13.
Amy Ahomiro and Mae Tajima could also miss the third place battle as they reunite with the Lady Eagles in the AUG tilt, set from July 9 to 19 in Singapore.
Valdez, though, is optimistic that she will find a compromise and help both of her squads in any way she can.
“For sure, maiintindihan naman ako ng teammates ko from both teams,” she said. “I’m going to be there for which ever team and support them and do whatever I can to help them.”
Bali Pure may have to lean on Grethcel Soltones, Dzi Gervacio, and playing coach Charo Soriano to salvage at least a podium finish.
