Alaska’s new reinforcement suffered a minor injury during the Aces’ tune-up game against Meralco Wednesday at Gatorade Hoops Center.

Forward LeDontae Henton sprained his right ankle during a rebounding scuffle in the Aces’ 106-92 loss to the Bolts.

Henton will be out for almost a week but the Providence product doesn’t seem to mind the injury.

“It’s good, it’s not too bad, I just got to recover, and the staff did a very good job of helping me recover fast,” said Henton who left the facility in crutches.

“It’s not serious and it’ll probably go down in a couple of days.”

“I just need therapy and rest.”

Alaska will have another tune-up game in preparation for the PBA Governors’ Cup, this time against Blackwater.

Henton, though, would be absent in that game.
