Troubled Jones out of UFC 200 for possible drug violation

Jon Jones is once again on the wrong side of the drug test.

Just days away from UFC 200, the light heavyweight champion was cut from the card after another possible violation of the United States Anti-Doping Agency rules, UFC has announced.

As per Fox Sports, the Usada has notified UFC of Jones’ potential violation of anti-doping regulations.

According to USA Today, Dana White revealed it was Jones’ “A” sample that had failed though another sample could be still be tested.

However, with the card happening on Sunday [Manila time], it’s far too late for Jones.

Jones was arrested for DWI back in 2012 when he crashed his Bentley, and then against in 2015 after he tested positive for cocaine.

UFC also stripped Jones of his light heavyweight title in April of last year after a hit-and-run incident.

Daniel Cormier was set to defend the title against Jones in the main event but that instead, Brock Lesnar’s match against Mark Hunt, the former WWE star’s return to the Octagon, will be the card’s closer.
