Daniel Cormier missed another chance to take on Jon Jones but the light heavyweight champion never looked bothered as he showed the way against Anderson Silva winning via unanimous decision in UFC 200 Sunday [Manila time].

All three judges scored the bout 30-26 as Cormier used his wrestling to take down Silva, who is already in the discussion as being the greatest fighter of all time.

Silva took the fight in just two days notice moving up to light heavyweight from his normal middleweight.

Cormier improved to 18-1, his lone loss coming against Jones, as the champion immediately took the fight to the ground avoiding any standup opportunities for the lanky Silva (33-8) who has 20 knockout victories under his name.

Wrestling was the name of the game for Cormier as he started employing ground-and-pound and ground Silva’s energy away controlling the fight from the top.

Cormier was supposed to face Jones to determine who the undisputed light heavy weight champion is but the latter was cut from the card after failing his drug tests.
