Thailand blasts Philippines in Asean University Games volleyball

Thailand sent the Philippines to another loss in the Asean University Games volleyball tournament, 25-19, 25-10, 25-23, Tuesday at National University Singapore.

UAAP Season 77 champion Ateneo represented the Philippines but Thailand had the defending champions of the tournament.

The Philippines is now at 0-2 after the Lady Eagles fell in their opening to Indonesia, 21-25, 25-17, 14-25, 22-25.

The Philippines has a chance to take its first victory on Thursday when it faces host country Singapore.
