PBA Govs’ Cup blasts off Friday
LOOKING to reestablish its dominance in the PBA, San Miguel Beer opens defense of its Governors’ Cup title on Sunday against Phoenix Petroleum, two days after the league takes the lid off of its season-ending conference at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Beermen, who will welcome back June Mar Fajardo from national team duty, will be bannered by returning import Arizona Reid as they try to start a winning streak again after getting derailed in the Commissioner’s Cup.
