It only took RC Cola-Army three sets to expose Petron Wednesday, scoring a 25-22, 25-23, 25-11 rout and remaining unbeaten in the Philippine Superliga All Filipino Conference women’s volleyball at Fi Oil Flying V Center in San Juan.

The Lady Troopers launched quick, daring assault against the Tri Activ Spikers who turned out to be just a shadow of their old self that won the same conference last year via unprecedented 13-game sweep.

Using its trusted system to the hilt, Petron had no problem executing its plays with open spikers Jovelyn Gonzaga and Rachel Ann Daquis finding the open corridors to lead the Lady Troopers to their fourth win in as many games.

Gonzaga finished with 15 points, while Daquis had 10 markers. Both of them will join the Philippine team seeing action in the FIVB Women’s Club World Championships here in October.
