Phoenix tries to keep lead versus AMA

PHOENIX tries to tighten its grip on top spot when it clashes with AMA Online Education Thursday in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Fresh off a 108-95 victory over Tanduay last Tuesday, the Accelerators gun for their seventh win in eight games against an AMA squad that has managed just a win in five outings so far.

Defending champion Cafe France tries to keep pace with Phoenix when it battles Blustar Detergent in the first game at 4 p.m.

The Accelerators lost their aura of invincibility just before the break when they suffered a 78-93 loss to Racal last June 30.
