PBA releases full Governors’ Cup schedule; 5 road games set
Five cities will host out-of-town games in the season-ending 2016 PBA Governors’ Cup as the league released the full schedule on Tuesday.
Lucena City in Quezon, Panabo City in Davao, Legazpi City in Albay, Batangas City, and Binan, Laguna will be holding Saturday games as the league seeks to end the 41st season with a bang.
In turn, Manila will be the site of this year’s All-Star Weekend, with the annual festivities to be held at Smart Araneta Coliseum from August 5 to 7.
Commissioner’s Cup finalists Rain or Shine and Alaska renew their rivalry when they meet at the Big Dome on August 13, while Alaska battles rival San Miguel on August 24.
Star and Ginebra stage the final Manila Clasico of the season on August 28, still at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
