F2 LOGISTICS repeated over RC Cola-Army. Only this time, it was a lot easier.

The Cargo Movers were dominant all game long to shock and awe the Lady Troopers, 25-16, 25-12, 25-15, last night in the Philippine Superliga All Filipino Conference at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

Scoring with impunity and blocking with authority, F2 Logistics downed the three-time champion for the second straight night to register its eighth win in as many matches.

RC Cola-Army wasn’t able to establish itself throughout the match, unlike last Saturday when it forced a fifth set after losing the first two frames.

“We were able to follow our game plan and enjoy the game,” said F2 Logistics coach Ramil de Jesus. “My players are younger, so after last night we recovered better.”

Still De Jesus said only the placings were decided in the match and the “real deal will be the semifinals.”

Earlier, Generika frustrated hard-luck Cignal, 20-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-22, to bolster its bid for fifth place in Group B, while Standard Insurance-Navy picked up an easy win over Amy’s Kitchen-Perpetual, 25-17, 25-9, 25-14.

“It’s for the players, to boost their morale and for the team owners to continue to back us up,” said Generika coach Rosemarie Prochina, whose wards notched their first win in the second round for a 3-5 overall standing.
