Coke Hoopla: Concepcion, Mayamot, Kasipagan score
CONCEPCION SURVIVED a near collapse to escape with a 94-90 victory over Tinajeros in the 2nd Coca-Cola Hoopla Intra-City elimination in Malabon on Sunday.
In Antipolo, Mayamot controlled the match from start to finish to crush Bagong Nayon, 119-77. Kasipagan followed suit in Manila with an 87-47 rout of Bukid while San Roque dealt Sta. Rosa a 66-46 defeat in Cainta.
After a 28-7 first quarter spread, Concepcion saw its lead dwindle to 50-38 at the half and to 73-66 after three quarters.
Tinajeros leveled at 82-all but suddenly lost steam to give Concepcion the win.
