Muhammad Ali Jr. dumps family after inheriting dad’s cash—report

After receiving his share of his late father’s fortune, Muhammad Ali Jr., the estranged son of the late boxing legend,  decided to dump his wife and two children, according to a RadarOnline report.

This comes just over a month after the iconic boxer and perhaps greatest sportsman of all time, passed away due to septic shock.

Ali Jr. and his eight siblings reportedly met with Ali’s widow, Lonnie, on June 28 to talk about how to split up their father’s sizable estate.

Upon getting his inheritance, Ali Jr. moved out of his family home in Chicago’s South Side and relocated to a wealthier part of the city near Midway Airport. The instant millionaire, however, decided not to take his family with him.

For the past decade, he and his wife, Shaakira, along with their two children, Ameera, 8, and Shakera, 7, have been living on food stamps and hand outs just to get by, the report said. Ali Jr. has struggled with marijuana addiction and other substance issues in the past.

The report added that that family members now hope to keep him on the straight and narrow and  Ali Jr. is even focusing on starting a business and helping people in the community.

“He wants to do landscaping stuff and help people,” the report said. “He doesn’t need much. He’s a simple dude.”

Ali Jr. had a rough childhood and was bullied by boys who wanted to show that the champion’s son could be beaten.

He claimed that he wasn’t supported by his father financially or emotionally before his passing.  Khristian Ibarrola
