Generika shrugged off a poor first set and proceeded to dominate Amy’s, 24-26, 25-13, 25-19, 25-14, in the second round of the Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Conference Saturday at San Juan Arena.

Joy Dacoron sealed the win for the Lifesavers with a hit from the middle that went through two Spiker defenders as Generika improved to 2-0 in the second round.

Assistant coach Jeffrey Drio, taking over for Lifesavers head coach Francis Vicente who had to tend to his duties with the Under-18 National Team, reminded the team not to take anyone lightly.

Rubie De Leon gave Generika the 24-14 lead with a service ace.

Chloe Cortez led all scorers with 17 points while Ria Meneses and Wensh Tiu had 15 and 11 points, respectively.

Cindy Imbo had nine points to lead Amy’s.
