Chicago’s Benny the Bull has decided to hang up his horns for good last season, but the league’s mascot duties remain in good hands, as the Orlando Magic’s “Stuff the Magic Dragon” has been recognized as the NBA Mascot of the Year for 2016.

The furry-green creature, which rose to prominence by assisting 2016 Slam Dunk contest runner-up Aaron Gordon with his gravity defying throw-downs during the competition, is the 10th NBA mascot to win the award.
Previous winners include the Bulls’ Benny the Bull, The San Antonio Spurs’ google-eyed Coyote and two-time winner Clutch the Bear of the Houston Rockets.
