University of Perpetual Help steamrolled Emilio Aguinaldo College, 70-53, for its fourth straight win in the NCAA Season 92 men’s basketball tournament Tuesday at Filoil Flying Centre in San Juan.

Bright Akhuetie sustained his torrid form hitting 19 points and 12 rebounds in just 28 minutes for the Altas, who moved into solo second at 6-2.

Akhuetie said the team’s hunger is pushing the players to strive more after splitting their first four games.

“Nothing really changed for us, it’s just that everybody is hungry to win,” said Akhuetie.

The Generals couldn’t get anything going offensively and against a team riding a hot streak and is brimming with confidence, they gave themselves little chance.

Remy Morada had 15 points but went 5-of-16 from the field to pace EAC, which slipped to 2-6.

The Generals, who also drew a pair of double-doubles courtesy of Hamadou Laminou and Sidney Onwubere, fired blanks and ended up with a woeful 23% shooting clip from the field.

Laminou had 14 points and 13 rebounds while Onwubere posted 13 points and 10 rebounds.
