The Los Angeles Lakers will need all the help they can get this upcoming season, and it seems that their promising guard, Jordan Clarkson, is already reaping the benefits of his hard work.

The 24-year old swingman’s vastly improved shooting stroke was on full display on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila), in a 44-second video posted by Strategic Skills coach and consultant Drew Hanlen.

The 6’4 Filipino-American guard, who shot 31.4 percent from deep as a rookie to 34.7 percent as a sophomore, effortlessly drained 15 successive shots from way beyond the three-point arc.

Clarkson’s improved accuracy bodes well for the Lakers, who are expected to run a more free-flowing and floor-spacing type of offense under their new head coach, Luke Walton.

The Purple-and-Gold ranked as worst three-point shooting squad in the whole league last season, after only averaging 31.7% from beyond long distance.

Clarkson, meanwhile, will enter his third season with the Lakers after an impressive sophomore campaign where he averaged 15.5 points, 4 boards and 2.4 assists.

He recently signed a four-year, $50-million contract to stay in Los Angeles.  Khristian Ibarrola
