Lifesavers head coach Francis Vicente was pleased with how his team, which was formed just two months before the conference, performed saying the fifth place is a high-enough place for them.

“For a team formed in only two months, mataas yun,” said Vicente. “Kailangan lang talaga na yung players should adapt to the pressure to perform at the highest level, yun ang kailangan namin i-overcome.”

Generika was down 24-20 but the HD Spikers managed to hold on but the fifth set belonged solely to the Lifesavers.
