Several NBA players competing for the 2016 Rio Olympics thought of relaxing in a comfy spa in Rio, but “rebounded” after realizing they had been lured to a brothel.
Team USA’s NBA players DeAndre Jordan, DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins, DeMar Derozan and “three other unidentified players” went out on Wednesday night and accidentally ended up in Termas Monte Carlo, one of the lavish and flagrant brothels in Rio, according to TMZ.
At first glance, the brothel advertises itself as a “spa,” but is actually a “spa for men.”
“They realized it wasn’t the right place for them and immediately left,” an insider told TMZ. The players paid for drinks and nothing else.
Images displaying Jordan “chilling out” at the brothel and Cousins standing beside a girl embracing him surfaced in several media outlets.
Members of the US basketball team are staying in “Silver Cloud,” a luxurious cruise ship . Athletes filled up their social media accounts with snaps of the world-class vessel.
