KEEPING its goal in mind, Far Eastern University goes for a share of the Group B lead in the Shakey’s V-League Season 13 Collegiate Conference Wednesday.

“The pressure will always be there,” said FEU skipper Remy Palma. “It’s about how you handle it. For us, our mindset is the V-League [is our training] exposure  for the UAAP.  That’s why we’re really preparing”

The Lady Tamaraws aim for a 2-0 start versus winless San Beda at 4 p.m. at Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

UST (1-0) also vies for the Group B lead versus San Beda (0-1) at noon.

The Lady Tamaraws opened their bid by upsetting NCAA champion St. Benilde, 25-16, 25-18, 25-18, behind the combined 31 points of Palma, Bernadette Pons and Toni  Basas.   With a report from Philip Martin Matel
