Erram stretchered off after hurting knee
Blackwater is bracing for the worst after its starting center JP Erram was stretchered off the court due to an apparent knee injury during the Elite’s game against TNT Saturday.
Erram, who is having his best conference so far, landed awkwardly after a drive attempt midway through the second quarter.
Article continues after this advertisementThe 27-year-old Erram came into the game averaging 15.0 points and 7.7 rebounds in his last three games and was on his way to another big outing with nine points, three rebounds, two steals and two blocks in nearly 15 minutes of action before the injury.
Losing Erram will be a big blow to the Elite, who are 1-3 in their first four games.
The former Ateneo slotman, who won three UAAP titles for the Blue Eagles, was drafted 15th overall by Talk ‘N Text in 2013.
