Proving that age is just a number, Asi Taulava struck a fresh two-year deal on Monday to stay with the NLEX Road Warriors.

The 43-year-old Taulava broke the news through his social media account, posting a photo of himself signing the contract with NLEX team manager Ronald Dulatre on his Instagram.

Taulava also thanked NLEX governor Ramoncito Fernandez, alternate governors Rodrigo Franco and Christopher Lizo, and Dulatre for making the deal happen.

The Fil-Tongan Taulava, the oldest active player in the league, is still going strong despite his age, averaging 14.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 31.9 minutes this season.

NLEX currently sits at sixth place with an even 3-3 record in the ongoing 2016 PBA Governors’ Cup.
