Letran charged to its second straight win in the NCAA Season 92 Men’s Basketball Tournament trampling San Sebastian, 73-61, Friday at San Juan Arena.

It was Knights’ show all game long as the defending champions never let any momentum to build on the side of the Stags.

“Long way to go, kailangan namin muna intindihin mga sarili namin bago yung mga nasa taas,” said Knights head coach Jeff Napa whose team has won two straight outings. “It was a collective effort. Everybody sacrificed, yan yung magandang nangyari ngayong game.”

Rey Nambatac and JP Calvo led the 7-7 Knights with 16 points apiece while Felix Apreku and John Quinto added a combined 18 points.

Michael Calisaan had 24 points to lead the 5-10 Stags, whose four-game win streak was snapped, while Ryan Costelo added 12.
