MIGUEL Tabuena fired a three-over-par 73 on Friday and missed the cut in the $3 million Omega European Masters at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club.
The 21-year-old Filipino Olympian, coupled with an opening 72, fell four shots off the halfway cut with his 145 total as he was joined in an early exit by fellow Asian Tour luminaries Mardan Mamat of Singapore (144), India’s SSP Chowrasia (145) and Bangladeshi Siddikur Rahman (144).
Tabuena had just three birdies against six bogeys but was doomed by a triple bogey 6 on the 13th hole in the opening round. Musong R. Castillo
