BIÑAN—China put down Chinese-Taipei in valiant fashion with a three-set sweep, 25-12, 25-11, 25-19, and get its campaign in the Asian Volleyball Confederation Asian Women’s Club Championship going Sunday at Alonte Sports Arena here.
Ba’yi Shenzeng is at 1-0 while Chinese-Taipei representatives T. Grand slipped to 1-1 in Group D.
Liu Yanhan led the Chinese with 22 points while Wang Yunhu and Wang Qi added 12 and 11 points, respectively.
T. Grand was at the mercy of Ba’yi Shenzheng’s offensive conquest as the Chinese unleashed 42 scoring spikes.
China also held its ground, putting up 10 points with its wall of blockade.
Huang Chen-Yu led Chinese-Taipei with six points.
