The Lady Tamaraws battle the Ateneo Lady Eagles at 4 p.m., while the Lady Bulldogs take on the University of the Philippines Lady Maroons at 6 p.m. in Game 1 of the best-of-three series at Philsports Arena in Pasig.

Although the Lady Tamaraws like their chances after topping the quarterfinal round, the Lady Eagles look more confident, especially after winning a playoff match against San Sebastian for the last semifinal berth.
NU coach Edjet Mabbayad also expects his Lady Bulldogs to be up for the challenge versus a UP side that likewise won a crucial quarterfinal assignment to advance to the Final Four.
