UFC featherweight Holloway makes way to PH

Number three-ranked featherweight Max Holloway will be making his way to the Philippines for a three-day visit on September 15 to 18.

The Waianae, Hawaii-native will hold a meet-and-greet session with his fans before staging an open workout at SM Megamall.

Holloway (16-3-0) will be hyping the upcoming UFC Fight Night Manila: Lamas vs Penn on October 15 at Mall of Asia Arena, where former UFC lightweight and welterweight champion BJ Penn makes his ling awaited return to the Octagon after a 27-month hiatus.

Nicknamed “Blessed,” Holloway is on a nine-fight winning streak, with his latest coming off a unanimous decision win against Ricardo Lamas at UFC 199 last June.

His last loss came from Conor McGregor on August 2013.
