James apologizes for cancelled Manila trip
Disappointed with the recent turn of events surrounding his cancelled Manila trip, four-time NBA MVP LeBron James took it to Twitter and apologized to his fans.
In a post on his Twitter account, @KingJames on Thursday said that “unfortunate events” led to the shelving of what would’ve been his third trip to the Philippines.
Unfortunate events has cancelled my trip to the Philippines. Always have enjoyed my trip there. Hopefully I can come back soon! #SFG #RWTW

James was supposed to arrive Wednesday night for his two-day visit to the country.
In an earlier statement, Nike cited “logistical challenges” for cancelling the Manila leg of James’ Asian tour.
James is coming off an NBA championship, where he led the Cavaliers to an incredible comeback from a 1-3 series deficit against Golden State Warriors, thus giving the city of Cleveland its first major sports championship in 52 years./rga
