Ginebra bolstered its chances for the coveted twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals with a 93-86 victory over Mahindra in the 2016 PBA Governors’ Cup.

The Kings improved to 7-2 and strengthened their hold of the second spot with the playoff chase heating up as they reasserted their mastery of the Enforcers.

Justin Browlee towed Ginebra to the victory with 27 points while Japeth Aguilar and Scottie Thompson had 19 and 12 points, respectively.

James White led the Enforcers’ attack with 23 points but they fell short and dropped to 6-4 at fourth place.
