Cardona powers Meralco over Alaska in 37th PBA Philippine Cup
MANILA, Philippines –Mac Cardona returned and he made sure everyone knew about it.
After missing five games due to injury, Cardona came up big down the stretch to help Meralco squeak past Alaska, 81-75, Friday in the 37th PBA Philippine Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Cardona pumped in eight of his 10 points in the final quarter while Chico Lanete had a team-high 17 points for the Bolts.

Meralco surged to its fourth win in six games while Alaska remained winless at 0-5.
Sonny Thoss topscored with 19 points and Cyrus Baguio chipped in 18 markers for the Aces, who led 56-52 to start the fourth quarter.
