Jaja Santiago takes home V-League MVP, Best Blocker awards
Jaja Santiago’s good fortunes are still going strong.
After making a strong impression in the Asian stage, the towering middle blocker out of National University was head and shoulders above everyone else in the Shakey’s V-League Collegiate Conference collecting both the Most Valuable Player and Best Blocker trophies.

Toni Rose Basas, the surprise star out of Far Eastern University, was named the tournament’s Best Opposite Spiker while Ateneo teammates Jia Morado and Gizelle Tan were named the Best Setter and Best Libero, respectively.
Isa Molde, the reigning UAAP Rookie of the Year, represented University of the Philippines in the award ceremonies taking home the 1st Best Outside Spiker Award while Santiago’s teammate Jorelle Singh was named the 2nd Best Outside Spiker.

Lady Tamaraws captain Remy Palma was second fiddle to Santiago in the defensive end settling for the 2nd Best Middle Blocker award.
