Cardinals eye Final 4 slot

MAPUA looks to make the most out of the first of three chances to nail the last Final Four berth as it battles St. Benilde today in the 92nd NCAA basketball tournament at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Cardinals can complete the postseason cast with a victory in the 4 p.m. clash against the Blazers, who are also out to avoid the ignominy of a winless season.

Arellano, San Beda and Perpetual Help already clinched Final Four berths, but the twice-to-beat bonus for the top two teams at the end of the elimination round remains up for grabs.

Meanwhile, San Sebastian seeks to continue its strong second-round performance when it clashes with Emilio Aguinaldo College in a battle of eliminated teams.
