A Stephen Curry super-fan shelled out a whole lot of cash for one of his trademark in-game mouth guards, but the presumed owner himself is now questioning the authenticity of the dental piece.

The two-time NBA MVP cast doubt on the genuineness of one of his reputedly game-used mouth guards, which fetched over $3,190 (P151,408) at an online auction last month.
“Whoever found it, sold it on eBay for an absurd amount of money,” Curry said at a private fundraiser, via CBS Sports. “For some silicon. I don’t understand why.”
The auctioned mouth piece was supposedly recovered from a Warrior’s road game last December, embroiled with the team’s logo and Curry’s name and number.
Curry, however, questions how the auctioneer even got a hold of it.
