Sports memorabilia often gain value over time, and this one-of-a-kind LeBron James rookie card is no exception.

Described by collectors as  ”the most valuable and coveted LeBron James card in the world,” the much-sought item is already up to $65,000 (P3,103,132 ) with less than 12 days remaining in the auction, according to Bleacher Report.

The card, which belongs to the 2003-2004 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection, is still in mint condition and was even autographed by James himself. It also features the NBA logo patch from one of his Cleveland Cavaliers’ jerseys.

“It’s sorta like finding Willy Wonka’s golden ticket,” sports memorabilia expert Ken Goldin described the card in the report. “It really is the Holy Grail of modern trading cards.”

He added that the card’s value may be even greater than the jersey James donned during Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals.

Meanwhile, the company behind the sale, Golden Auctions, lists an expected final sale price of $200,000 (P9,548,100), which would make it one of the most valuable cards in history.

“The offered piece is James’ absolute top-tier rookie collectible. This is his one-of-a-kind autographed logoman rookie from 2003/04 Upper Deck’s iconic Ultimate Collection brand,” the company wrote on its website.  Khristian Ibarrola
