Kiefer Ravena on Wednesday said he’s waiting for the final call-up to see if he will become an official member of the Texas Legends in the NBA D-League.
Ravena was at Mall of Asia Arena to watch his brother Thirdy and Ateneo fend off University of the Philippines 79-64, but he’ll be in the Philippines for just a few more days before he flies back to the United States.

“Siguro may tawag naman ako na sasabihin nila na wala na,” said Ravena in the event he’s cut from the roster which includes compatriot Bobby Ray Parks. “So meron pa rin akong [inaantay], positive or negative. Then that’s the cue to do whatever move I have to do when it comes to my career.”
Ravena spent several months in the US preparing for a possible stint with the NBA and ended up getting a tryout for the Legends.
He also played in the Drew League, a popular pro-am tournament whre NBA stars usually play.
