Meralco’s Dillinger sits out Game 3 due to hamstring injury
Jared Dillinger sat out Game 3 of the 2016 PBA Governors’ Cup semifinals series between Meralco and TNT due to a right hamstring injury.
The Bolts’ veteran swingman sustained the injury near the final minute of the Bolts’ 106-91 win over the KaTropa in Game 2 on Thursday.

“Definitely, it’s gonna be a big adjustment without JD. He’s a big part of our team. He normally comes off the bench, but last game he was actually part of the starting five,” Meralco head coach Norman Black as posted on the PBA’s official Instagram account Saturday before tip-off.
“We’ll not only miss his outside shooting which helps us space the floor but he’s also one of our better defenders.”

“It just means that other guys must step up. And other guys will be given chances to contribute.”
Despite Dillinger’s absence, Meralco is still up, 50-47, at the half.
